Eight OHS Meistersingers Selected to Perform National Anthem at State Basketball Tournament

Congratulations to Lauren Archer, Heaven Colyer, Jocelyn Davis, Mark Keikert, Serenity Frantz, Jordan Lee, Emma McIntyre, and Ilana Vasconez.

These eight OHS Meistersingers were selected to sing the national anthem at the Iowa High School Boys Basketball State Tournament.

They will be singing on March 10, 2026, for Session 2, which begins at 10:30 AM.

For the audition, a video submission was made of them singing the Star Spangled Banner. Out of the 90 video submissions, the Iowa High School Music Association only selected 20 groups to sing at a variety of high school athletic state tournaments.
