The holiday season can be a time of stress and uncertainty for many families. Ottumwa Schools is offering its Holiday Food Basket program, partnering with local agencies that contribute funds or products to assist us in providing support to families in need. Each basket is primarily filled with food items to allow families to prepare a holiday meal.

Families within the Ottumwa Community School District who have a student enrolled in one of our schools are eligible to receive a free Holiday Food Basket. Distribution will take place on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.

This year, pre-registration will not be required. A total of 300 boxes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. We kindly ask that each household limit participation to one box.
