Ottumwa High School has been selected as one of ACT’s American College Application Campaign 6th Annual School of Excellence recipients. This prestigious national recognition honors schools that go above and beyond to support students through the college application process, helping pave the way for future success.
A recognition ceremony was held on Tuesday, April 15 in the Ottumwa High School auditorium. Community members, local partners, and high school seniors celebrated the hard work and dedication of our students, staff, and supporters.
“This recognition reflects the commitment of our team to ensure every student has the tools, support, and encouragement they need to pursue their postsecondary goals,” said Superintendent McGrory. “We’re proud of our Bulldog community for fostering a culture of opportunity and success for all students.”
ACT’s School of Excellence distinction is awarded to a select group of schools across the country demonstrating a strong commitment to college and career readiness initiatives. Ottumwa High School’s efforts to promote college applications, increase access, and support students at every step make this honor especially meaningful.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this achievement possible and joined us in celebrating this important milestone.
