You're Invited to the 2024-25 Retiree Reception

The Ottumwa Community School District will honor 19 dedicated staff members retiring at the end of the 2024-25 school year, celebrating a remarkable 373 combined years of service. A special recognition event will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Ottumwa High School, 501 E Second Street.

A program honoring the retirees will begin at 2:30 PM in the Ottumwa High School auditorium, immediately following the district's all-staff professional development meeting. Those who wish to attend the recognition ceremony are encouraged to arrive outside the auditorium by 2:20 PM, where they will be admitted prior to the start of the program. A reception honoring the retirees will be held from 3:00–4:00 PM in the high school cafeteria, with refreshments provided. Community members, staff, families, and friends are invited to attend and help celebrate the careers and contributions of these exceptional employees.
