Main Entrance & Second Street Closure at Ottumwa High School

An important change regarding access to Ottumwa High School is coming soon. The main entrance will be closed from March 10 through March 31, 2025, due to construction. During this time, all students, families, and visitors should use the Cafeteria entrance off either Fourth or Second Street.

Student pick-up and drop-off, including bus transportation services, will move to the Fourth Street cafeteria entrance. All guests visiting Ottumwa High School should use the Cafeteria entrance while the main entrance is closed.

Additionally, East Second Street, between Union and College Streets, will be closed beginning Monday, March 10, until June 10, 2025. The adjacent sidewalk will also be closed. The closure will remain in effect through the remainder of the school year to accommodate construction projects at Ottumwa High School.
